COOK/ CATERING OFFICER

THE POSITION
Preparing and serving meals
Ordering & maintaining kitchen supplies
Assistance with resident care.
Availability for shift and weekend work is essential.

THE CANDIDATE
Energetic and passionate with a genuine regard for the well-being of the elderly.
Whilst previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial, on the job training will be provided.
A sound understanding of food safety and hygiene principles, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service will be an advantage.
The ability to prioritise tasks, effectively manage workflows, and be a reliable team member are essential parts of this role.
Candidates are required to have full COVID-19 vaccination, willingness to have annual flu vaccine and to undertake a police check.

CARE SERVICES EMPLOYEE

THE POSITION
Personal care and general household duties to ensure the client receives high-quality care.
Observe resident’s wellbeing and make recommendations about care enhancements.
Maintaining records and continuous communicating with our excellent client services staff.
Participate in client reviews and work with the client’s family to honour client requests.
This position requires shift work.

THE CANDIDATE
A background in Aged Care would be beneficial however candidates with no experience are encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to start their career in nursing.

Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to engage professionally with staff and residents from a variety of backgrounds.
Well-developed leadership and time management skill.
